These invites include a map, guest bios, a dinner menu, a party description and more. I used hand drawn doodles to create a wallpaper that was used as a background. I also created a logo for the dinner and paper-crafted an apron for packaging.
A clickable email made in collaboration with Denise Werner of D for Design and Linda Klompus. This page was created as an interactive and astheticaly pleasing way to RSVP to an event held in Las Vegas.
Here is the alphabet in my custom typeface as well as marketing poster for the typeface. I also created a brand book that can be viewed as a pdf at booskilynn.com .
This poster had many color iterations so let me know if you think another color would work better. The finished product didn't have the white boxes around sponsor logos and the arrows are just from my screen shot.
This ad was created for and published in NWPalate magazine in February of 2010. Notice I used the same grid from my state fair poster. So probably not a good idea to include both...I need to show versatility.
This poster was created for the 2010 McMinnville Wine & Food Classic. I was required to use the painting submitted by an artist as well as the existing branding we had started earlier in the year.
In this project I tore down a flyer I thought was terrible and replaced it with a well-designed flyer. This flyer was created in ART 120. I hand drew the mouse and used color pops to tell the story.
Above is a series of three license plates that are meant to brand alternative fuel vehicles. The CF within the plates stands for "clean fuel" which is an existing practice in the state of Virginia. Should I use all three? Maybe two are stronger? Or maybe there is only one worthy of the portfolio. What do you think?
This wordmark was created for ART 118 in Fall of 2009. I was tasked with creating a unique mark to brand the state of Virginia using as little imagry as possible. The mark is a custom typeface that was altered to connote a long history as well as state pride with the state bird.
